Parliament is a free, quarterly publication published by Lemasters. Parliament has been published continually since 2010 and features subjects of interest to the deathcare profession. Each issue focuses on a specific topic, and features at least one guest author. Past issues have featured articles on cremation, pets, challenges in family-owned business, legal updates, sales and liability.

How do consumers shop for a funeral? What is the consumer’s view of the difference between funerals and cremation? What does a consumer think a pre-arrangement is? Who does a consumer believe has the right to control their funeral? These are just a few of the topics we have covered so far - and we have more to come - so stay tuned! You may notice a common theme in all of our PSAs - the consumer view. The deathcare profession has a lot of beliefs and misconceptions about what consumers know and understand. And guess what - that’s because consumers have a lot of their own beliefs and misconceptions as well. Take a look at the facts (yep - we interviewed consumers to get the data) because it is through data that both the profession and consumers will start understand what deathcare is really about. Our goal is to educate and close the gaps between what the profession and consumers know about the death experience. You’ve heard it before - the more you know!
