Cremation Arranger Certification Program

The largest growth market in funeral service is cremation. The question is, will the families you serve choose “direct cremation” or will they opt to have a tribute service and memorialization? The ICCFA Cremation Arranger Certification offers six hours of in-depth training on: how to arrange and create meaningful cremation tributes, how to create unique options for memorialization and how best to communicate all of this to your client families. Here's a look at the seminars included in the Certification training:

Myth, Mania & Misconception: Unearthing the Secrets of Cremation with Larry Stuart Jr., General Manager, Crematory Manufacturing & Service Attendees will leave with a better understanding of the technical and design aspects of crematory equipment and how this can directly affect the arrangement conference. Learn details necessary to dispel the myths surrounding cremation perpetuated by the uninformed, the media and the general public.

The Modern Consumer with Cole Imperi, Owner & Creative Director, Doth Brands & Victor Imperi, COO, Doth Brands Today’s consumer is a special one and you really can’t afford to stay in the dark. We’ll unlock the doors revealing what makes today’s consumer tick. Through this knowledge, we will help the arranger better understand the cremation consumer and ultimately how the arranger can make better arrangements.

Psychology of Pricing: How a Phone Number Will Make You Eat Chocolate Cake with Cole Imperi, Owner & Creative Director, Doth Brands & Victor Imperi, COO, Doth Brands Dip your toe in a little neuroscience! We’ll discuss how the brain processes and approaches pricing and value. When you understand how the brain works, you can make better decisions about not only how your cremation business might choose to price itself, but also about how you present those prices to your community.

Intelligent Marketing: How To Sell More Than Just a Cremation with Cole Imperi, Owner & Creative Director, Doth Brands & Victor Imperi, COO, Doth Brands This seminar will look at several modes of marketing and how you, the provider, can integrate them into your current marketing strategy. The seminar will also provide an in-depth look into a community outreach-marketing campaign that you will be able to take and use after the seminar.

Tips, Tricks & Best Practices in Your Neighborhood with James Altmeyer Jr., President Altmeyer Funeral Home & Cremation Cremation is growing—and changing—at a fast rate. As a provider and arranger, it is sometimes tough to keep up with more business, let alone more changes. In this session, we will look at the changes in your area and how some of the best have dealt with those changes. We will look at some of the best practices and consider some of the worst too. By hearing the best and the worst, you will be in a better position to improve your process, the families you serve, and hopefully your bottom line.

Reducing Your Liability to Add to Your Bottom Line with Poul Lemasters, Esq., Principal, Lemasters Consulting; ICCFA Cremation Programs Coordinator This seminar will focus on the Cremation Authorization Form, and educate the arranger on why each section is so critical. Participants will not only learn the importance of each section, they will also learn how to explain the sections to the family. There will also be examples of lawsuits that have cost providers millions.

Better yet, all attendees will get a 20 minute PowerPoint® Presentation ready for you to use with families.
